My name’s Richard Lord. I am a Flash and PHP developer based in London, UK. I have been programming games professionally for 15 years for games consoles, PCs and the web. I now develop web games using Flash, with back-end development in PHP.

I also make available to other developers some of the code I’ve created for various games. This is on the Flash Game Code website.

Flint Particle System

I initiated and am the lead developer of Flint, an open source Actionscript 3 particle system for Flash and Flex. You can find out more about it on the Flint website.

Training

In addition to my game development work, I develop and run training courses in Actionscript and PHP with Ubiq Creative Training.
